Urdu Keyboard Online
Type Urdu with your normal keyboard. Free, no download, no sign-up.
This is a free online Urdu keyboard. Press the keys on your normal English keyboard and each one turns into an Urdu letter. Then copy the text into WhatsApp, Word, email or Facebook. Nothing to install and nothing to sign up for.
What is a phonetic Urdu keyboard?
It puts each Urdu letter on the English key that sounds most like it. You already know where the English letters are, so you can start at once.
B types ب, M types م, K types ک. You get real Urdu letters.
Urdu words spelled with English letters, like “aap kaise hain”. It is not Urdu script.
Why does the text grow to the left? Urdu is written from right to left. Your first letter lands on the right and the next ones follow toward the left. That is normal.
